There are some bike trails here and there and on some streets there is a bike lane. What's the biking situation in your city?

    Dangerous

But I bike every day about 12 miles or more. They just put a bike lane on much of my route to work which is nice since very few ppl know the law to give 3-foot clearance when passing a cycler. On weekends I try to use residential streets to get to the cinema but sometimes have to hit the main thorofares.

Pretty much same as yours. I don't bike ride, so that's the extent of my knowledge.

Here it's just basically a 'get in, where you fit in' type of situation for bikers. Often times I notice that they tend to ride against the flow and direction of traffic. I haven't rode a bike since I was a kid, so I'm not sure if this is customary.

We have a bike path that runs a few miles here in town. I don't ride my bike, but I like to use it for jogging and walking.

There is a part of my trip in to work where I hug the curb and go against the traffic. It is not legal but so far no cop has stopped me. Supposed to be unsafe but I feel safer facing oncoming cars so I can see what is weaving, crossing the white line and ditch if need to. Most bikers who get hit are done from behind and never see it coming.

People who think they can ride bicycles in the same vicinity as cars are fucking stupid.

They do. And they be going fast as hell. Getting hit by someone doing 30 or better on a bike isn't pleasant. But when their stupid asses get hit, it's the DRIVER'S fault.
