Work schedule

When you were hired in was it with any schedule stipulations, like you refuse to work certain days & times or shifts? One of my co-workers did that and I'm jealous. When I was hired in I wanted the job so much that I put open availability and so they whore me any way they want.

Yes, I said no graveyard shifts. But pretty much open to everything else.

I'm Monday through Friday, primarily days (but once a month I have to work an over night shift.) When I was hired in, my only stipulation was that I couldn't regularly work weekends because I had a child. On occasion, I might go in on Saturday for a few hours, but it's very rare.

Yeah, I recently was hired and I told them when I could and could not work.

Did they listen? NOPE! Not really! Starting to piss me off.

No but I wish I had because when I was hired, I hadn't had my daughter yet. Trying to get them to adjust my scheduling to be more accommodating after she was born wasn't that easy. My schedule isn't set in concrete and still rotates from time to time, but it's not as flexible as it used to be.
