Do you get into any Super Bowl pools?

I am usually in the pool from the home town bar. A couple years ago, I won two grand. It was crazy cuz I won on the final score.

This year I have 1,9 and my son has 7,7. I really hope his numbers hit on the first quarter.

I have in the past and have won a few bucks but nothing to compare with your luck! You both have pretty decent #'s.

Cheaps, it has to do with the numbers in the score. Like, my son's is a decent number because it is more likely that a quarter of the game will end in 7-7. So, they go by the last number of the score. So, in reality, if a quarter ends in 17-17, then 7-7 would win.

My number with 1,9 isn't that bad either because it could be a score of 21-9 at a quarter. You never really know, but when you know how football scores add up, you understand better how "good" numbers are. But you just never know. People would say 5-5 is bad but in tonight's first playoff game, 5-5 ended up being good.

I don't fully understand football, but I really love having football numbers. I don't buy them at home at all but have them up North where my dad lives. I really love the numbers game and figuring out what could hit. I was probably a gambler in a past life!LOL

Not this year. I'm still reeling from the near miss of the $5000 I would've won had the Colts and the Saints inverted their scores.
