    If PP is still pursuing networks for alternate airings of the soaps once they come back, wouldn't it make sense for SOAPnet to do this? I've heard people throw out networks like USA and WEtv for that. I think SN is the more obvious choice.

    Would make sense but I get the feeling PP is trying to avoid making this a collaborative reboot with ABC involved and since ABC still owns SN, that probably won't be an option.
