A year ago on New Year's Day I decided to read my entire series of Wizard of Oz stories, which meant rereading L. Frank Baum's 15, and newly reading Ruth Plumly Thompson's 19, and then the 2 shorter books she wrote in the 1970s, some 35 years later after hanging up her Oz gloves. And then, along the way I also came by The Magical Mimics of Oz by Jack Snow, and Dorothy of Oz by L. Frank Baum's great grandson Roger S. Baum. And tonight I finally finished the LAST Oz book. 1 year and 3 months later, I am so relieved, and tired, and looking forward to having something different to read tomorrow.
