Fahrenheit 451 (1966)

Has anybody here seen that movie? What did you think about it?

I like it. It's not as good as the book (then again what is?) but I think it stands alright on its own, it doesn't focus on some aspects of the book which disappointed a lot of the readers but I think it still works. I just wish they'd get the remake done instead of having to piddle around on it for over 10 years and still have no idea who's writing it, who's directing it, who's starring in it, etc. Frank Darabont is set to direct it but nobody in Hollywood will give him the green light on it even though they admit it's the best story they've heard in years, but will not do it because 'they don't know how they'll market it to a 13 year old'. Can anybody believe that ?
