Which do you prefer.....getting on a plane or hoping in the car and driving out of state? A friend of mine loves to drives and will trek it around the country in his van. Me....nah....can't do it. I'm horrible at directions and will easily get lost....plus I can't ride for 12 hrs straight.

I don't do either but I would NOT fly. The way they charge for everything now, all the services that used to be complimentary, and those tiny seats so they have to charge you double to use two of them to fit in what should be one, I say screw them, I'll take the open road and see what all there is out there, directions or no directions.

I'll go stir crazy in a car for that many hours and I'm personally not the long drive type. Flying is the way I go.

Know what, most of the time I'd rather fly.....but since I'm used to road trips (we took a lot when I was a kid) I wouldn't mind driving either. If I had to and it was more prudent at the time. I've driven back and forth from NY to MD, VA, SC, NC, FL with no problem. It's really not that bad. When I'm on the road, I only stop for gas and food and just knock it out.
