Anyone ever see this classic soap opera? I remember back in the 80's I saw some of them on TV and became very addicted to watching it then they took it off. I bought the entire series on DVD but have not watched it yet since its over a thousand episodes. Did anyone ever see it? Is it worth it to start watching it now?

Ahh memories of my childhood. I loved it. It's definitely worth watching. I imagine it will probably seem somewhat dated now but I remember it fondly.

Yep there are. There are over 25 boxed sets with 4 DVD's in each one of them. From what I remembered it looked like it was way ahead of its time and the stories were pretty interesting. Love that Blonde beautiful witch!!!

I remember watching Dark Shadows every week day after school.I like the show.It was good for it's time. I would like to watch the movie if it is made as long as good actors are used

Was this mentioned someplace else here? It's supposed to be in pre-production with that type cast actor, Johnny Depp (
