    When does someone have a drinking problem and is everyone who has one an "alcoholic"?

    I think it is when someone can not stop, no matter what and needs to drink. But there are all degrees of it. I don't think kids who binge drink on the weekends are alcoholics, but have an alcohol problem. Although, I think that "alcoholic" is very broad. So, maybe binge drinkers on the weekends are technically defined as alcoholics.

    When the only way they can relax their frustrations is with a drink, they have a problem. If they get intoxicated at least two or three times a month, they're an alchi.
