    Curious what approximate percentage you actually use your cell phone for actual phone calls versus you using for other things (texting....video....music....games....surfing....apps, etc.) Is your phone mainly your phone, or is it your quasi- laptop too.

    For me....I'm so resistant to the iPod/cellphone age that I mostly use it for phone calls. I can't pretend to get any satisfaction outta trying to go online or play music with it. The flat sounding music on a phone and the awkward "finger maneuvering" you gotta do with texts, apps & websurfing is just annoying to me.

    I haven't downloaded any music at this point. The ringtones sound bad enough. A QWERTY keyboard takes care of that "finger maneuvering" thing. I love it & couldn't go back to the other way.

    I use my cell phone only for calls. It does not have a camera (I got a digital camera for that) and I don't play games. In fact the cell is turned off most of the time unless I need to call someone or I am expecting someone to call me when I am away from the landline. I bot the thing for my convenience. It is a TracFone and I use so few minutes they all add up because every 3 months I have to buy time.

    Most of the time I use it for texts/IM, email and web surfing. I probably use the PHONE part of my blackberry the least.

    When I do use it sometimes (very rarely) I check e-mail and mostly for calls.

    I rarely use my little TracFone for anything, because I really don't have anything to say to anyone (then why am I on here 23 hours a day!?) Here's what I do when I use my cell phone:

    1. Phone calls (96% of the time)
    2. Texting (4% of the time)

    Occasionally I may look up something on the Internet but I use it for calls and texts, mostly. My cell has a # of features on it that I never bother to use.

    Since I don't have a landline phone, my cell is my primary phone for talking. So I use it a lot for that. Of course, I also use it a lot for texting. I don't really play games on my phone or go online unless I'm bored or if I have to look up something real quick when I not near a comp. I take pics on it as well.

    i use it ALOT for texting, also have music on it, i get email updates. i really dont play games.

    I don't have a bunch of silly extraneous features on my phone. I mainly only use it for texts, calls and the occasional picture.
