Same, though I think if I ever had the room for it I'd also like to get a pickup, but for the most part I'll stick with a car.

I got a car and that's all I wanna have for now. Trucks, SUVs & vans can be a bitch to park cause they take too much space.

I have a car, and prefer them, but I wouldn't mind having a Ford Explorer or a Chevy Equinox.

Cars all the way around. I'm a whipper. And parking spaces are limited here in NYC.

I have a car but my best friend has an SUV, which is good because when we go out we tend to go in groups. We all just pile in with her. I could see myself driving an SUV (not a van or a truck though.)

I have a bicycle. There is no parking on Miami Beach either.

So, the only thing I usually drive is an occasional van at work.

I will be spending a couple weeks at my sister's place in semi-rural Missouri and will be driving her SUV to get around. Did it last fall and it is a good vehicle, but I'd hate to try to parallel park it in a city. Everywhere I go out there has pull in parking lots.

I'm on the 4th vehicle I've ever owned, a car. I had a full size pick-up before this because it was useful (but not vital) at the time and 2 cars before that. Those were manual and I ain't never going back. They can be fun to drive but not in long commutes of bumper-to-bumper traffic. I went for fuel economy this time and expect to keep it that way.

The ONLY reason why I don't have a stick. Automatics are boring. Then again, if you get used to it driving the manny in bumper to bumper, won't bother you as much. I still might get one. They keep your driving skills sharp and honed.

My first two cars were sticks. Drove them for more than 20 years total. I was plenty used to driving in traffic. I just got fed up with it. There've been numerous times since I went automatic that I thought it would be fun to be able to shift gears at will on a particular road but that first summer trying to get home on a Friday sitting in shore traffic, I at least had the consolation of being able to do it with one hand and one foot. If the Automatic Manual Transmission technology becomes more common, I could see myself getting that.

I've owned 4 VW Beetles since 1970. The first one I drove from New Orleans to San Francisco. That city is the test of stick shift, sitting at the top of a almost vertical hill at a light, then having a millisecond to get your foot from the brake to the clutch before you start rolling backward. hehe
