Shane naked in the gym

Shane in the gym with them taking his clothes from him and throwing them around to each other was really hard to watch. I never thought I would want to see Rex beat the crap out of Todd's son, but I do.

I want to see Jack get the snot beat out of him too, but even more than that, I want to hear his explanation for why he's done all this.

It was tough to watch but I think it was a really well-done scene and Austin really brought it home. A part of me really wanted to go in there and counter-insult Jack to show him how it feels. It's not as if he didn't leave himself wide open.

I think they should have Shane beat the crap out of Jack and in front of all the people Jack was humiliating him in front of. That would be so cool!

Shane's too nice for that and as much as I'd like it, I like Shane being able to be the bigger man in all of this. Jack can be beaten by somebody else, like his new cellmate Rocky!

I would love to see Jack to be charge with child pornography. Although violence is never an answer,I would of loved to see the shit beat out of Jack. I was sittin here watchin cheering on Rex. My hubby was just sittin here shaking his head at me. Hell, Even Starr was nailing him. That little twirp that's friend with Jack needs to be prosecuted along with him.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who felt those scenes could have been a LOT more powerful and that the acting left much to be desired. All I could think of was how much better Carmen would have been. That kid could really act. I found the scenes painful because it just seemed overdone and fake and not at all natural. JPL is always so over the top and often detracts from serious scenes and today was no different. I was really disappointed in how this all played out. It could have been SO much better. I don't fault the storyline but the acting in this case, which is a rare thing for me to say when it comes to OLTL. Usually the actors rise above the shoddy writing but not in this case.

I guess Rex has forgotten all too quickly of the pain he caused the Mannings when he forged a death certificate and almost got Todd killed, not to mention brought Ramsey to town. Rex has caused a LOT of pain and destruction, too, and I hope someone reminds him of that. Not that I expect OLTL to go that route, but it would be an interesting turn of events if Jack was getting revenge on Rex for what Rex did to Sam and the rest of the Mannings when he played God and gave Todd that forged death certificate. I want to know what's made Jack snap, because Carmen's Jack was a hell on wheels but not malicious or evil.

I can't stand what Jack has become. They've turned him into a mindless thug like so many others on the show - idiots who hurt without thinking and believe they have the right to assault or inflict pain on others - John, Brody, Matthew, and now Jack.

I agree with Kral and TSJ; those scenes had a lot less meat than I was expecting and were ultimately a letdown. Kristen Alderson was trying her damndest to make it more dramatic than it was, but the writing just wasn't there.

I was expecting Jack to have some sort of bitter reason–no matter how misguided–for tormenting Shane, and that it would have at least partially come out during these scenes. Instead, all he did was wince, lightly smirk and stupidly downplay his involvement. Jack seemed more serious with Brad in the hallway after than he did during the confrontation with in the gym.

I didn't have a problem with the scenes. OF COURSE Jack isn't going to react to Rex. lol

And I don't think Rex is really concerned about what he did to the Mannings in the past. And if you think about it, none of us would be either. Somebody is harassing our son, it doesn't matter who's child they are.

That other little Wimp that is Jack's accomplice needs to be knocked around as well, I really hope Shane fights back and kicks their butts!

The kid playing Jack seems to have one facial expression, the kid can't act for shit.
