Bad haircuts

Two part question:

• Have you ever gotten a haircut (or hairdo) that left you totally mortified?
  
  
• Have you ever been forced to get a haircut because something went wrong?
  

Yes, when I was 16 I had longer hair than I do now, and due to a bleaching accident I was left with a huge bald spot and had to shave my head. It was awful, but then I grew to love my shaved head!

Twice that come to mind. The first when I let my hairdresser talk me into that Demi Moore "Ghost" cut & the second several years ago when my hairdresser was dealing with a customer acting a fool & asked if another stylist would be ok. I figured this once, no big deal. I walked out of there looking like the lovechild of Reba McEntire & Bozo the Clown. I went over to where my hairdresser was & when the eyes bugged out I knew it wasn't just me.

No but when I was 9 I tried cutting my own hair, took 4 inches off and my mother was the one completely mortified.

Once when I was 9, I let my 11 year old cousin attempt to give me a haircut. He swore he could do it because he saw his older brother do it and of course his brothers clippers were right there. You can guess how that turned out. He shave a huge plug into my head and I was extremely nervous about how my parents would react when they saw it. They were cool about it fortunately and took me to get a haircut so that I wouldn't look balding anymore.

No and no. I don't 'cut' my hair.

haha, I don't think so, but my picture with a shaved head was on the cover of Green River Community College's catalogue for a couple years. One day I was in the movie theater and they had those ads at the beginning and I was like "WTF?? THAT'S ME!"

I had the worst hair cut when I was in my last trimester of pregnancy, and would totally scan it if it was handy...it was a friggin mullet, but don't tell me that in 1999!

As a kid I had the worst hair cuts which were bull shit because I had naturally curly hair, which should have/could have been cute all the time. But Dad was in charge of it, so would drop me off at the barber, yeah, barber, while he went to drink at the VFW bar. Then pick me up after I sat for a while after getting a super short cut. Always fugly.
