Has anyone ever stolen from you?

Has anyone ever stolen from you; be it a case of you knowing for certain that they had (they were caught, or they confessed), or you strongly suspecting it (even if you couldn't prove it?)

yup, few years back. my roommates boyfrend at the time stole bout $300 out of my wallet. my dumbass left it out, but in the 2 years of being roommates with her we never had a problem with people stealing. i couldnt prove it tho, it did end up causing problems tho.

....and lived to tell about it? No.

Back in the alternative lifestyle/communal/brotherly luv days we were ripe for rip offs.

I have had "fronted merchandise" stolen by not being paid for it.

Of course later I have had stuff stolen in house burglaries - twice in Miami and a couple of bikes stolen.

Yes, a friend of mine saw a book I had, and said "oh you have that book?" I absently just said "yes".

Then about a week later, I noticed that book was missing from my shelf. I immediately thought of her, I just knew she had taken it. I was confused mostly, if she had asked could she read it, even could she have it, I would have said yes. I guess she preferred to just take it.

Yeah. Back when I still lived at home, someone broke into my car and stole my after-market 8-track player. During a snow storm. Tore the shit out of my dash board that I never could afford to have fixed. The only bright side was they broke a rear window that I could replace myself.

Someone took my car stereo too and it was when I was in high school when my car was parked at my boyfriend's. I am pretty sure I know who did it, but could never prove it. I had a friend's boyfriend steal a c.d. from me too, and that sucked because he was at my apt. with her, admired the c.d., asked if he could borrow it, and I explained that I didn't lend out c.d.'s (they just started to date, so not trust in lending). After they left, it was gone.

Yep. I had a Nike jersey when I stayed overnight at my aunt's house.......I washed it and hung it out on the clothes line. The next day when I go to get it, it's gone. I thought that was weird. Then later on in that day at a pool party, her husband's nephew comes thru with the damn jersey on. I went off. He tried to say it was his but I knew it was mine. Nobody in that country ass town had a jersey like that. He even threatned to kick my ass for stealing my jersey. I told him to keep it. I didn't want it back after his big fat triple stomach ass stretched it all out. Don't worry ya'll, I got him back though. I slashed the tires on his bike, popped the chain and took the seat off.

I love a story with a good ending.

2 summers ago, someone went into my garage and stole my lawnmower, and I'm almost positive it was the people who lived at the end of the street. Their lawnmower looked very similar to the one that I had ripped off.

i also remember last year, i had gotten my cd stereo from my car stolen, my stupid ass left one of my car doors open.

Yeah - a former co-worker stole form me and I had my car broken into, though they only got copies of cassette tapes and the copies were my language tapes for one of my classes, not the originals. I also had some kid back when I was in grade 1 try to steal my jacket by claiming I'd stolen it from her. Game was up when the principal and her teacher checked my jacket and saw my name on it and realized she was lying but they didn't believe me at first, as I stood there in tears, scared they were going to take my beautiful red raincoat from me. I still remember them asking if I'd gone to visit my little friend and taken her raincoat with me when I left.

I had kids steal from me when I was in elementary school but most of it was small stuff.
