I don't get why everybody wears these things, I really don't find them comfortable in the least. My other sandals gave me two big blisters on the sides of my feet the other day so I dug out a pair of flipflops I bought last year figuring without any sides there wouldn't be any pressure on the blisters...no, instead it gives me a new set of blisters on my heel because of where the little plastic straps hook onto the bottom. Anybody else have that problem?

Sorry. Nope, I love mine. I've had the same pair for I don't know how many years. I'll be really bummed when I finally blow one of them out. I'll probably cut my heel and have to cruise on back home. I practically live in them in the summer.

Perhaps you need to stop buying cheap flip flops. If you have a wide foot, those plastic strap hooks are going to bother you. They do make flips without them. I have a pair of these:

I don't care much for sandals, FLIPS however are essential.

i have a few pairs of flip flops, they comfy for me. never got blisters

I only wear them at home or if I'm going to a swimming pool. I never wear them out in public casually, like shoes.

I love flip flops. The only time I've ever had blisters are when I've worn sandals, rather than flip flops. I fell in love with a pair of Ugg flip flops bt had already spent all of my money and didn't get them but I will next year.
