Fried Chicken...your favorite?

I love fried chicken (and I am a yankee ). I can fry up some good chicken but my favorite I have to admit is KFC better than Churches or Popeyes IMO (like Popeyes biscuits though). Love that original recipe.

I hate KFC, I ate it twice in my whole life, both times it made me sick. I don't trust anything but homemade, my mother makes the best fried chicken there is, in my opinion.

KFC is the *only* fast food chicken place I like; not a fan of Popeye's, Boston Market, Church's, etc., etc. I heard Chick-fil-A is good, but I have no desire to try it.

Love KFC. Bojangle's is great! Chick-fil-A is good too but I'm boycotting them so they'll have to be a memory for now.

Gimme a good Chic-Fil-A any day. Their chicken salad sandwiches on whole wheat with a side of carrot raisin salad are to die for. But my secret obsession is Popeyes fried chicken. They opened a new one here last week. Their extra spicy reminds me of home. I've eaten a sea of chickens from Popeyes through the years.

KFC isn't my fav but it will do in a pinch. I like their honey bbq chicken. You just have to stay away from their mayo based things or you'll end up with the runs.

Safeway has good fried chicken and even better roasted chicken.

Not a fan of KFC. The pieces I always get hardly have any meat.

I love fried chicken, whether it's from KFC or at home. I'm in the North, but I love a nice Southern meal of Southern-style fried chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and corn.

Love that chicken from Popeye's. I like Church's biscuits better than Popeye's though. I was actually discussing fried chicken with someone earlier today, and I cannot understand how anyone could dislike fried chicken. It is my weakness. My perfect food. I've never met a fried chicken I didn't like.

Now if I'm going to go out and buy some, Chick-Fil-A is my favorite. Otherwise, I'm making my own.

That's exactly how I feel. I love KFC for their original recipe, as well as for their sides. The other chicken places are very hit and miss. Their chicken is either good, but their sides are wack…or their sides are better than their chicken.

I love KFC chicken. Popeyes not so much, but I like their biscuits.

It's weird like that. For me if you could put KFC's chicken with Cracker Barrel's biscuits, Mrs. Winner's gravy & Bojangle's dirty rice, it would be the perfect meal.

I have had KFC, its ok, not the best, I prefer their grilled Chicken. Boston Market chicken is from rotisserie if they have fried I have never seen it. Roy Rogers fried chicken is pretty good.

Roy Rogers was fantastic until Hardee's bought the place & ruined it.

CeCe there are still a couple of Roy Rogers in Manhattan, once in awhile I stop and get the chicken.

Wow you're lucky! Assuming they haven't messed with the recipe, it was one of the best. Hardee's changed it completely. It was awful. And I'll eat all kinds of fried chicken. It was that bad.

We don't have any Hardee's around here but if they ever open one, I will stay away from the chicken!!!!

In Mich....the only chicken chains I know of are KFC, Boston Market, Church's Chicken and Popeyes.

KFC is KFC.
Boston Market is bland as hell. Very flavorless food.
Popeyes is alright, but their chicken is too hard (almost like microwavable fried chicken in the box.)
Church's I haven't had in eons.

KFC wins.

I haven't had KFC grilled chicken yet. Looks good. Maybe the next time I go I'll try it.

KFC is cool, I never get the original recipe though. I'd rather have their crispy or grilled chicken. But the best fried chicken chains are KFC, Roy Rogers and Bojangles. I wish there were a Bojangles around here.

Doesn't get any better than KFC original recipe IMO. Also like their popcorn chicken and of course their sides (bread, Cole Slaw) are on point too.

KFC is only chicken place we have around here, and i love their crispy skin.

other than that, my cuzn an roommate makes the BEST fried chicken! and i'll take theirs over kfc any day

I used to LOVE Brown's when I lived in Illinois. Now, there is no good chicken unless I make it here....
