Ever been homeless?

Have you ever literally been without a roof over your head? If so, for how long...and where did you sleep?

Not in the technical sense because I've never actually slept on the street, but I have been in what I will call a 'transition'. And it wasn't because I couldn't pay my bills or whatever, it was because the person I was living with...there was a falling out. So bounced on a few couches until I got my own roof. Only lasted a month.

Only for a night - twice.

While traveling thru Mexico we got stranded overnight in Villa Hermosa and slept on a park bench.

It happened again in Tehran, where we couldn't find a room nor a bus out at night so we slept on a park bench there.

I slept in a sleeping bag at a rest stop on I-10 in Texas hitch hiking.
