I have this weird habit of microwaving my ice cream so that's warm and I can basically DRINK it! Everybody thinks this is weird, but I love it hot-warm. Anybody do ever do this?

Negative. I wouldn't even think of putting my ice cream in the microwave. Defeats the purpose.

The only time I ever nuke ice cream is if it's so frozen I can't get the scoop in and then it's ony for about 10-15 sec. Sorry, Robbie, but if I want to drink my ice cream I'll have a milk shake.

The most I have done was put chocolate ice cream in milk - but that was in basic tng in the service where I had to get my food down fast.

I have nuked it to the point where its soft but that is because I like to stir it up until its smooth and then eat it. Its not too far from being liquid at that point.

I've done that before with chunky ice cream. Like cookie dough, black cherry, etc., etc. But not with any plain type.

I only let it sit on the counter to get soft.

Same here. If it's too hard, I just let it sit out for about 5 minutes. It softens right up....and pretty quickly. You don't need to microwave it.

We have a metal ice cream scope that you run under hot water. Makes digging into frozen treats easier if I don't feel like nuking it.
