Who have you seen in concert/live? Any memorable concert stories? Awesome show, or not that great? Post it all here!

The latest concert I've been to was this past September when I went to see Roger Waters perform "Pink Floyd's The Wall"---amazing, amazing show! I'm so glad I had the opportunity to go, as this will be the last time he tours, but I give him props for pushing 70 years old and still rocking out!

Other shows I've been to are:

    U2--three times!
INXS--when Michael Hutchence was still alive
Elton John--not my choice on that one
Billy Joel--not my choice on that one, either
Jonas Brothers--ok, I had to bring my daughter but wore earplugs!
    David Bowie--now we're talking!
    The Alarm--80's alternative band
    Journey--*sigh* Steve Perry!!! love you

Aww. I love Steve. He's so dreamy.

    CONCERTS:

Shawn Mullins - free concert - Copley - Boston, MA - 2 Stars
He was a nice guy, but I'm not a fan of his music. But he was good to talk to.

Genesis - Turn It On Again Tour 2007 - Boston, MA - 4.5 Stars
They were great! I wish the setlist had some more to it, though.

Bruce Springsteen - The Magic Tour 2008 - Foxboro, MA - 4 Stars
Bruce was great, but traffic + rain caused a MASSIVE delay.

Stars - Bedroom After the War Tour 2008 - New York, NY - 5 Stars
Thoroughly amazing experience, full band, great performance, great road trip.

Gregory Douglass - Easthampton, MA - 5 Stars
Got to interview him before the show. He was very sweet that night.

    Madonna - Sticky & Sweet Tour 2008 - Boston, MA - 4.5 Stars
AMAZING performer. Setlist was iffy towards the end.

Tina Turner - Live in Concert Tour 2008 - Boston, MA - 4.5 Stars
Another amazing performer, but she didn't do "A Fool in Love." sad

    Gregory Douglass - Battler Tour 2008 - Boston, MA - 5 Stars
Amazing full-band show. Lots of fun.

Bruce Springsteen - The Working on a Dream Tour 2009 - Boston, MA
SO much better than the Foxboro show in a lot of ways. Heard some gems.

Blondie / Pat Benatar / The Donnas - Call Me Invincible Tour 2009 - Boston, MA - 4 Stars
Pat rocked; Blondie blew it; The Donnas were okay.

Cyndi Lauper - Memphis Blues Tour 2010 - Boston, MA - 4 Stars
Cyndi was great, but she was 30 minutes late getting onto the stage.

Robyn / Kelis (Far East Movement / Dan Black) - Boston, MA - 5 Stars
5 stars for Robyn; 3.5 stars for Kelis; 0 stars for the terrible warm-up acts.

Gregory Douglass - Salem, MA - 3 Stars.
He was a dick that night.

La Roux (Francis & the Lights) - The Gold Tour 2010 - Boston, MA - 5 Stars
She rocked it out. I was tired that night, but Elly was on fire.

Duran Duran - All You Need is Now Tour 2011 - Foxwoods in CT - 5 Stars
Amazing experience seeing the wild boys go at it. FREE TICKETS AND ROOM!

Aww man. I've been to quite a few. I've seen Prince, Usher, Jill Scott, Maxwell, Robin Thicke, Ne-Yo, Rick James, Mary Mary, Mary J. Blige and a bunch of reggae artists I'm sure none of you are familiar with. A few more are escaping me right now. Just about all of them were great, but Prince.......man......he was just awesome. Usher is a great performer too. And Rick James. AND Jill Scott. Her voice is ridiculous. Maxwell is the business too.
