Depends on the joke. If I personally think it's tasteless....then I definitely think it's offensive.

They are usually offensive. There is this new friend of my guy's who I just met last night. He is one of "those" guys who always tries to be funny with no verbal filter. We had a bon fire last night and it was the first time I met him. While he was funny at times, he started to bash Jews and called his mother in law a whore several times. I excused myself at that point.
