    Well, the outlawed 'mustard gas' in WWI was chlorine and it does tear up lung tissue.

    You can really release a lethal amount of it by mixing ammonia and chlorine bleach. Some really cleanfreak housewives discovered that fatal fact the hard way in the '50s.

    Actually, I have a less fatal but irritating version of that. I sometime put bleach in my toilet and let it sit. Then forget about it and take a leak. Well, urine has most of the ingredients of ammonia (let it sit and it turns into ammonia). So while I am stuck mid piss, this chlorine gas starts wafting up to my nose, where I have to hold my breath until I am finished.         d-oh!

    Get the Lemon Fresh or Meadow Spring smelling Clorox. Doesn't smell as strong as the regular one.
