    My wife has a crime show on and Michael O'Keefe is the villian and it reminded me of this. Robert Duvall is a gung ho Marine father from hell who butts heads with his eldest son (O'Keefe) in the early 60's South. Anyone else see it?

    No, 1979. It's from a novel by Pat Conroy who also wrote Prince of Tides (Barbara Streisand & Nick Nolte)
