While we're on the subject of Joan Crawford, did you ever see her biopic, Mommie Dearest? Bananas.

Whats Bananas? Yes I saw it and read the book too. Faye Dunaway was way too much like Crawford it was scary how much she looked like her too. I liked the movie. Never forget the line "NO MORE WIRE HANGERS EVEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!"

I've seen the movie but haven't read the book. The film did make Crawford out to be batshit. I do side with her on the issue of wire hangers though because of how they always get tangled.

Read the book before I saw the movie. I thought Faye Dunaway over-acted the role. I highly doubt that Crawford crossed her eyes after wielding the wire-hangers (which is the scene that blew it for me).

"And I think you are UNDER reacting Mrs. Chadwick!" Great movie. Saw a documentary in which both older kids said that it was true, yet the younger twins she adopted (that were left out of the movie) disputed Christina's claims.
