Who agrees this has to be one of the DUMBEST things the legal system ever came up with? Busting a bunch of kids for having unlicensed lemonade stands, the permits cost $50, lemonade is 25 cents a glass, do these moronic cops have any idea how many years they'd have to sell lemonade to pay for a permit? Seriously.

same thing happened to me for selling soft pretzels-- only i did have the permit, but the best spot closest to my house was the border for my town and i got busted for being one traffic light on the wrong side of the town line!

And they wonder why shoplifting by children/teens is on the rise? Why they are not motivated to do anything but play video games? hmmm

Indeeeeeed! When I was a kid and we had our yearly garage sales, I sold lemonade and ice tea at the table where we took the money and made change, and I'd make about $8 or $13, no permits needed back then which was only about 13 years ago.
