    Scoops & Spoilers
Previews for the week of 18-Jul-2011
    by Carol Banks Weber

    • Agent Baker picks up the telephone for an important conveyance. It’s go time.

    • An agent by the name of Baker and another agent bombard Todd’s abode.

    • Todd gets nowhere fast with this Agent Baker.

    • The Man With the Scar says hi again to his friend Sam.

    • MWS stores Sam in his Minute Man Motel for safekeeping, while messing with Sam’s clan.

    • Where’d Sam go? Todd and Tomas are on it.

    • John and Natalie are on it too. They deduce Sam’s been taken by whomever’s involved with the dead Agent Kent.

    • Sam’s clan beats down the bushes for any signs of him. When they do, they come across the real Spider-Man hired for the birthday and get the facts.

    • Blair summons John to look into this Todd/Agent Kent thing.

    • John and Natalie come over to investigate Todd’s place. They come to the likely conclusion that the person who gunned down Agent Kent must’ve knocked out this Spider-Man dude.

    • Natalie hunts around for more leads, and find a key component.

    • John uncovers further data on this Todd mystery.

    • John puts it out there that there has to be a Todd Manning doppelganger running around.

    • Tomas comes across a lead that Sam had an imaginary friend and that this imaginary friend looks just like the original Todd Manning. Nobody bothers to fill Todd in.

    • Tomas has a caucus with this Agent Baker. The two are very familiar with one another.

    • John and Natalie find themselves baffled by test results related to Sam’s going missing.

    • As John describes his Todd theory, Natalie’s eyes widen in bewilderment and shock.

    • Natalie updates Viki on Sam, revealing that his imaginary friend isn’t so imaginary after all.

    • Whomever has Sam notifies Todd of this fact and some terms.

    • MWS brings Todd into Todd’s own office for a face-off.

    • MWS expects a full, complete, comprehensive update on what has been going on in his absence, with this current Todd Manning.

    • The day we’ve all been waiting for is here: Todd and the Man With the Scar (played by the original Todd, Roger Howarth) get a load of one another, then duke it out.

    • MWS calls Todd out as a big, fat fake, and Todd fights back by calling MWS a freak.

    • MSW commands Todd to fill in some blanks, bringing up Agents Kent and Baker as part of his adventure.

    • MSW introduces Todd to his gun. Todd reflexively dares MWS to shoot him.

    • Todd prevails upon MSW to just release his son Sam.

    • MSW instead demands Todd – by force – to accompany him as they together get a hold of Tea, Blair and Viki to finally get to the bottom of this.

    • Tomas stonewalls John about the encrypted file on him.

    • Echo’s confrontation with Dorian snowballs out of Echo’s control. Before Echo knows it, she’s added kidnapping to her crimes.

    • Dorian tries to make a break for it, but is met with failure.

    • Echo has to shut Dorian up, so she takes her back to the Minute Man Motel room as her hostage.

    • Jack is with John. He starts describing getting hit from behind at Todd’s office when Dani walks in to drop a big lead. She thought Sam was at the Minute Man Hotel when she was over there earlier.

    • John drops everything and charges over to the Minute Man Motel Room in question to rescue Sam, but Sam’s not there anymore.

    • Sam was inside the Minute Man Motel Room earlier but left to help Dorian whom he heard in another motel room calling for help.

    • Blair implores Tomas to be truthful about anything that could secure Sam’s return. Yet, Tomas insists he’s out of the loop himself.

    • Tomas goes about making Blair feel secure in their thing and his part in anything.

    • Baz quizzes his father, Tomas, about a few pertinent things like, what’s he up to?

    • Tea puts Tomas on notice: ‘fess up to what’s going on behind her back, or get the hell out.

    • Blair remembers she has a young child to watch out for (Sam), and spends a few quality moments fretting about his welfare and the solution to his problems.

    • Agent Baker and a second agent try to apprehend MWS who’s with Todd.

    • Agent Baker and that second agent just want to take MWS and be on their way. They promise Todd that they will make sure MWS is not a problem and will not show up there anymore.

    • MWS avoids a narrow brush with disaster.

    • Agent Baker doesn’t hesitate to gun MWS down at the docks. Agent Baker makes sure to dump the MWS’s corpse into the river.

    • Echo watches her revenge fantasy go up in smoke.

    • David loses his mind, because Dorian appears to be in danger.

    • Viki attempts to prevent David from going off the deep end as everyone does their best to find Dorian safe and sound.

    • Echo actually looks like she’s going to take Dorian’s life when little Sam swoops in in his Spider-Man costume to save the day.

    • Dorian makes it back into David’s arms. All’s well that ends well.

    • John converges on the scene, assesses the damage and the near-disaster. He quickly takes Echo into police custody.

    • Rex blackmails Dorian, using the info he has on her about almost letting Clint die, to get his mom Echo out of jail. Bo doesn’t know how to handle this.

    • Sam’s clan surrounds him with love and admiration for saving Dorian.

    • Sam’s clan throws a big bash in honor of their pint-sized hero Sam.

    • Todd lets down his walls to love on Sam and Starr both.

    • The Mannings’ happiness turns Rex’s stomach and only increases his thirst to even the score.

    • Todd and Blair give Sam an entire day to enjoy any ole way he wants.

    • Starr doesn’t know what to make of Todd’s latest statement.

    • Todd puts himself to the task of ferreting out what’s really been going on.

    • Baz inquires of Tea about Tomas and Todd.

    • Saying Baz isn’t getting along with Tomas is putting it lightly.

    • Jessica and Natalie continue hating one another.

    • Natalie and John make a good team. Sorry, Brody. They’re concerted on-the-job efforts could ultimately be his downfall.

    • Vimal pens John a detailed note about the DNA secret, hoping the mail will do the job.

    • Vimal’s letter actually ends up in John’s hands, but he puts it aside when Rex barges in ranting about releasing his mom Echo from jail (for kidnapping Dorian).

    • John puts Rex off, by saying the evidence is too strong to simply release Echo without due process.

    • Rex’s bad state fills John with apprehension on the next ax to fall. Most likely, John believes Rex will only end up making things worse with evening the score.

    • John leaves his office momentarily, just as Brody walks in and spies Vimal’s note to John.

    • Brody picks up Vimal’s note to John, reading the contents, and pocketing it.

    • Aubrey and Cutter intend to horn in on the Vicker Man premiere, uninvited.

    • Nora brings up a key lead in her unofficial case to nab the perpetrator of her son’s brain hemorrhage, when chatting up Destiny.

Mostly boring. Hating what they are doing with Todd but hopefully it's still not what it seems. IMO, best thing I can think of is that at some point, Todd found out about somebody who has his face and had them locked up.

    Thanks Chris.

I am hoping this means that RH is out out out out!!! I am sure I am wrong though.

Blair surely is the greatest Mom in the world leaving a virtual stranger (spider-man) to watch over Sam. Considering what happened at Dorian's don't you think it would have been wise to not let the kid out of your site?
