| Oh no! Not another remake of a classic movie that was a remake of a classic movie?! Actually, no. It's a prequel to John Carpenter's. It's supposed to be what happened to the Norwegians before the Americans got there. | |

| The only real redeeming thing about the last Thing movie was the special effects. At the time it was quite impressive. IDK how far that will go this time. | |

I definetly want to see that. The original was good (James Arness as the Thing) and John Carpenter's re-make was excellent!

| This is one of the FEW movies where the remake was better than the first. I liked the first but liked the second one much better. And I really do consider it one of the creepiest movies.
But a third? I'd rather see someone have the guts to remake "Day of the Triffids".

The Thing From Another World (1952) is one of my all time favorites and The Thing (1982) is a worthy remake because A. it was so well done and B. it added something new by staying closer to the original John W. Campbell Jr. story, "Who Goes There?" This one might still wind up being a piece of crap but it could be interesting.
