The first time I heard of such a thing was when I saw The Stand, and I thought it was a stupid thing, I was like 'who never dreams?', but the 16-year-old girl next door...the other day the three of us were out in the garden and my mother started saying she had a dream, and the girl asked 'why?', and I was like , apparently she never dreams either.

I've never heard of such a thing so I checked to see if it was possible, but all searches I found say that everybody dreams, just people don't remember most of them. Well I know I don't remember most of the ones I've had over the years but I do remember a lot of them. I figured hell even unborn babies can dream, so why couldn't grown people? My mother's theory is that it's only boring people and people with no imagination who never dream, and given that the only two people we know of who make such claims are this girl and my father, it would seem so far that she's hit the nail on the head with this one.

Anybody else ever heard of this?

My sister-in-law always claimed that she never dreamed. Hard for me to understand because I am just the opposite. I dream SO MUCH, every night, that I wonder if I ever go into deep sleep stage.

Oddly enough, though, I rarely remember them, and when I do I don't remember much. Which is good because I have highly hallucinogenic-type dreams (all my life ~ it's nothing new). But, despite not being to remember, I know that I dream long and hard.

I agree. We just don't always remember. Sometimes that's probably a good thing.

I usually remember my dreams vividly when I awake......but I've also had countless dreamless nights.
