What are some movies that you actually think are so bad, they should never be seen, and you would strongly suggest that to somebody?


Top of my list, Human Centipede. This is one if you have not heard of it, have not seen it, DO NOT EVEN entertain any notion, this is one case where curiosity would NOT pay off, by any means. Four simple words: AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Though I do have to comment about something pertaining to it and other movies: there needs to be a new rule for horror movies, if you encounter a German doctor, either run like hell or kill him first and then run like hell. Don't ask questions, don't stand around for anything, just get the hell away from the Nazi.

Well for horror movies, no more ridiculous than the idea that only the puritan girl will survive and all her friends who engage in booze and sex will automatically be killed off.

I know there are quiet a few of them, but I can't think of any right now.

Two that come to mind.

A really dumb Nicholas Cage sci fi movie. Knowing. It started out well enough but just fell apart like a Robert Hall suit. Best thing about it was Beethoven's Symphony No 7 in A Major, Op 92 (1811-12) 2nd Movement: Allegretto on the soundtrack.

The Punisher with John Travolta and Thomas Jane. Trash.

I would tell people to avoid Skyline. Great effects, but totally miscast and terrible script.

Yeah, go see Battle: LA instead. Same movie, better done.

On that same vein, The Host(2006), a Korean movie with surprisingly great CGI effects for the monster but totally incomprehensible otherwise. May be a culture gap here but they wasted so much time on silly family stuff, with a simpleton for the father.

I would, again, like to nominate Sex and the City 2.

Why?

Well, it's racist, heterosexist, religiously insensitive, unrealistic, sexist (against women AND men), boring, long-winded, and devoid of any plot.

Yep! Shale, you are right. Battle: LA is far superior.
