Grace Slick of Jefferson Airplane/Starship said in an interview on VH1's Behind The Music that she would retire once she reached a certain age, because she doesn't like to see old people on a rock & roll stage; that it looked 'pathetic' in her opinion.

Do you agree/disagree? What's your opinion of older (over sixty) musicians?

It's OK with me if they've still got the chops.

It only looks pathetic if they still wear the spandex & low cut clothes they did back in the day. But age has nothing to do with talent. Buddy Guy is 75 & still sings & plays his ass off.

My mother watches all the PBS 50s and 60s shows when they will bring back the remaining oldies groups and have them come out and perform again, and some of them even for being in their 70s can still do it just fine and ain't missed a beat.

I totally agree. There is nothing worse then them not dressing at all their age.
