NO! I am independent of my family and they of me.
They would like that I not make love to men (on camera no less) hang out naked on the nude beach (again on camera and published pics) and that I had some conventional religion.
And I don't try to convince them to be less uptight and more open to alternative views.

Well, most of family is nosy as hell....so I would say yeah. But I really don't get involved in anyone else's business unless it directly concerns me. I'll listen in on the family gossip, but I leave it at that.

I had a lying cousin that used to disrupt things and cause all sorts of problems. But once i cut her out, there wasnt anyone who really interfered with my decisions. My mother lived with me for a little while and would do stupid things like move my picture and candles around the house which was annoying cause i wanted them where i wanted them. But as far as me buying a car, a house, going on a vacation or choosing a partner--- no one ever tried to contradict me or talk me out of it.
