Do you own any cookbooks? Have you ever prepared food via instructions from one? If so, what?

Yes, we have more than a few but truth be told we only use a couple of them. Recipe for red beans and rice comes to mind. And cheese cake. Lately we've been getting recipes from the internet.

I have several and use them for desserts and pasta salads most of the time. Usually they just inspire ideas. I won't be buying many more with all the great recipe sites online. Plus, the library has so many that I love to look through.

I have a cupcake book that I keep meaning to bake something from. I'll get around to it. I'm good at baking, so I'll prob. tweak the recipes a bit.

I don't have any cookbooks. Don't need any - all the cooking instructions are on the back of the microwave package. Blue Cool

Tony, it's pretty funny you bumped this topic today. Early this morning (in preparation for my rummage sale) I went through my cookbook collection and simply can not get rid on one. I certainly don't use most of them, but just can't part with them.

I too have an extensive cook book collection, and yes I have used many recipes in them. But then I am older than anyone here. I also like to read them for ideas.

I have so many cookbooks that I couldn't begin to guess how many. I never use them.

Someone recently bought me a New Mexico "pepper" cookbook and it is very interesting. There are a couple of recipes I'd like to try, but . . .
