When you talk to people, do you make it a habit to establish eye contact for an extended period of time? Does it make you uncomfortable when people look directly into your eyes for longer than a few seconds?

I hope it doesn't make them uncomfortable because that's where I look at them. Unless they're an alpha male Silverback gorilla or a grizzly bear or they have a nice rack.

I only make eye contact for a few, then look away. It doesn't make me uncomfortable per se.....I just don't care for prolonged eye contact.

Kind of, they always say look someone in the eye when you're talking to them but I only do that about half of the time. I feel like a bug on a microscope slide when they do it with me.

Prolonged is kinda rude IMO. Eye contact is fine for a few seconds, but don't stare daggers at me.
