| Do you own any expensive kitchen gadgets/appliances (pots, knives, etc., etc.?) For their quality, and the results you get when using them, was your item worth it?

| Not excessively expensive....but I tend to spend a wee bit more on pots, pans, and silverware. They really do last longer than the cheap stuff and doesn't rust. | |

| I agree that paying a little extra for things like cookwear is worth it in the long run. If you do any amount of cooking, a good set of knives is worth it. We have a good (not top of the line) stand mixer and a decent food processor. They get good use. We don't have things like a bread or pasta maker. | |

| I don't much bother with those more extravagant kitchen toys that promises do everything but set the table, but I am willing to pay a little more for better quality pots, pans, glass and flatware. As has been said, the higher the quality, the longer it holds. | |

| Now that I am older, I try to buy a more high quality item for the kitchen so it will last. But I don't really have any "wow" items. We have a Bunn coffee maker, but Dad bought that. That is probably the most expensive item I have and even the Bunn coffee makers have come down in price since I have had that. | |
