What do you think of the concept of leading a double life? Ever know anyone who did just that, or have you done that yourself? Would you do it if you could get away with it?

I think moonlighting is wasted energy for the most part. I've never done it, won't think about doing and don't see the appeal of it either. Too much work.

I couldn't do it (other than posing as Shale on the Web).
When I quit the police dept. I was hired by MoPac RR as a railroad detective, supposed to pose at a yard clerk in the big rail yard outside of New Orleans where thefts were rampant.
My cover was blown early on and I quit within a couple of months. I'm glad of that because I could not pose as a friend (even to thieves) while secretly betraying their trust.

I don't think I ever knew someone like that. Could I do it? Assume the guise of a mild mannered middle aged husband and father while also being a highly paid hit man? Not as far as you know.

I guess it depends on my motivation....but I can't imagine myself being motivated to do that.
