Oh man I wanted to see this show SO much when I first heard about it on I Love the 80s, and the kick in the head is I got the first season at Wal-Mart for $5, but I haven't gotten around to watching it yet!

They are making a movie of it. Jonah Hill is supposed to be playing Johnny Depp's character.

Well all this time later, I still haven't seen the first season I have, OR the movie for that matter and I don't plan to see that one. Today I go to Dollar General and they have seasons 1-4 on DVD, $10 each, I almost grabbed them up but I decided to check Amazon, turns out getting seasons 2, 3 and 4 on there would be cheaper so I think I'm going to do that instead.

Okay, my mother and I got the whole series, and we just saw the first part of the first episode last night, I gotta ask, is it me, or does anybody else think Johnny Depp acted TOO old for 21? Even though he was trying to follow in his father's footsteps, it seems to me for as young as he WAS and 21 IS young where I'm concerned, he was taking himself far too seriously and acting too old for even his age. And Peter DeLuise did NOT look like any teenager, he just looked like a punk, but I guess maybe his cover was a teenager who's been held back a few times? 
Anyway, entertaining show, I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.
