| Particularly on days where I don't feel very attractive I always consciously avoid mirrors or situations where I can see my reflection. A few years ago it was so bad that I went a whole six months without seeing my reflection and when I was forced into situation where I had to face my reflection, I started to panic and freak out. | |

| No, every time I get an itch around my mouth I need a mirror to check for cold sores. And if I'm going somewhere, I need to check and see if I have any new zits I need to get rid of, especially if I'm having my picture taken. I also got to check and make sure my teeth are good, all the gaps I have it's hard to brush all the white gunk out. | |

| No, I don't and haven't, but I remember seeing a TV talk show once where a woman spoke of how she avoided mirrors and her own reflection because she couldn't face how overweight she'd become. I think avoiding mirrors would make whatever is wrong with the situation worse. Face it. Accept it. Then fix whatever is wrong. | |
