A bit misleading in the title but this movie from 1997 is loosely based on these pictures:
taken in 1917 and the controversy they caused as people were split down the middle of whether it was true or whether it was a fraud. The fact that even Arthur Conan Doyle was convined that they were real says something for how convincing two children with a bunch of cut-outs can be.
The movie was entertaining but took a different approach in making the fairies real, which of course about had to be done in order for there to be a story for the movie. Has anybody here seen it?
