By stander reacts to shoplifting!

In my area, 2 women walked out of walmart with 2 shopping carts full of stuff that was not paid for, and shoved the items into a red mustang intending to get away. Security chased them out of the store, and a man in a minivan blocked the car's escape. The mustang then rammed the minivan in a vain attempt at getting away.

Would you have intervened and tried to stop them?

To stop shoplifting, no. To stop a child from being abducted, yes.

This I think, sure stealing's wrong but I don't see how it's worse than what Wal-Mart itself does to people.

The most I would have done is try to get a license plate number.

Nope. He would've got away if that were me. Like Red said, if I could get the license plate, I would....but I wouldn't take a chance of him ramming my car. Then we'd have a serious problem.
