Have fun! I remember when my sister was a baby, one time she was sick and my mother had to work so she was left in my care. That was a crazy day. They are A LOT of work. I don't think I'll ever be ready to have a baby until my feet are in the stirrups.

And grab and climb. They love to grab at and climb on everything. Pillow cushions, keys, light strings. You name it. Any and everything they can touch, they do.

When my two year old nephew comes over I have to take everything that is reachable and put the stuff up as high as I can. I have to wedge paper towels in my dishwasher so he can't slide the lever to turn it on. I have to duct tape the dryer door and remove any bottles, napkins, cannisters, bowls because he touches and grabs everything in site. He is cute, I love him to death, but I am very happy when its time for him to go home!

My sister came and got him this morning. I'm relieved and oddly sad (more relieved though.) It takes about a day for their presence to leave the air. Playful baby, but all that energy is just wow. He had me doing five things at once. Between putting on DVDs, playing catch with him in the backyard, putting him in the chair to eat, giving him baths, chasing his naked butt running around the apt…I just don't know how his parents do it.
