Not sure what the difference is. Husband only gets Miracle Whip so there hadn't been mayo in the house for a long time until I picked up a packet at a fast food place. It was great. So we'll just have to get both. But anyway the first ingredient on the pack is soybean oil.

CeCe I am not sure but I don't think Miracle Whip is actually mayo, I know I have tried it before but because I don't buy it anymore must mean I didn't like it.

Re: Mayonnaise made with canola oil
I usually buy Miracle Whip too. I don't recall ever tasting regular mayo, except for on burgers bought at fast food places.

Re: Mayonnaise made with canola oil
I had Hellman's growing up but Mrs. Smithee buys Kraft. I'd have to do a side by side taste test. Same with peanut butter. My mother bought Skippy but I've been eating Peter Pan for the last 30 years or so. I think I've made him forget all about Wendy and Tinkerbell.

Go to Whole Foods and make your own peanut butter. You'll never eat Peter Pan again.
