Any Law & Order fans out there?

I love L&O. Are you planning to watch the new Los Angeles version this fall?

The only one I have ever watched is SVU I like Chris Meloni and Mariska Hargitay. I hear there is a spin off of this one as well coming up.

SVU is the only one I like too. Regular L&O and C.I. are boring. They just cancelled the original series and are premiering a new spinoff this fall. It's that LA version JB mentioned. Gonna check that out.

Is it true that fans are picketing, sending letters and generally upset that L&O was cancelled? I read it somewhere during my internet travels.

When I found out Mariska Hargitay was Jayne Mansfields's daughter I was intrigued and I liked her and the show.

I'm kinda curious about the LA version. I'm wondering if it's a whole new spinoff, of if they just retooled the defunct root series.

I have seen Law and Order, Law and Order: Special Victims Unit, Law and Order: Criminal Intent, and the lesser known, canceled-too-soon Law and Order: Trial by Jury. I say LAO is New York territory and should be left at that...but we'll see if L.A. doesn't fall on its face. Now personally I prefer the earlier episodes for the original series because they were more about the crimes and the people who committed them, it wasn't social commentary, it wasn't political agenda, anybody agree?

There was another L&O that ran briefly that starred SVU's Stephanie March as Alex Cabot. It was cancelled very fast but from what little I saw I liked it.

No, I think that was her own show, Conviction. Nobody seems to like it and some have described it as being more of a soap opera, which explains why nobody likes it.

I'm a fan. I don't watch regularly, but with all of the reruns, it's a show I can usually find on one of the channels. I watch new eppies, but not all the time.

Thank God for the USA new episode reruns. I love SVU and I'm glad the rumors of Chris Meloni leaving aren't true. I hope Sharon Stone isn't coming back next season. I was surprised at how much I didn't like her guest appearances.

I don't think anybody likes Sharon Stone on it...her character really has no place in it. And I don't know about anybody else, but during her true confession in the episode 'Shattered', I really did NOT feel sorry for her. Did anybody else?
