let them brag about their brats... my apartment is nice and quiet... their house wont be for about another 20 years! LOL

It doesn't bother me if it's not overdone. Parents are entitled to be proud of their kids & brag a little. A little bragging when good things happen is fine but I don't necessarily want to hear about the latest escapades of the kids every single time I see them either. And don't send me one of those damn newsletters. I don't want to hear every detail of their lives & I don't care what color folders Binky & Buffy chose for their back to school folders. Reasonable moderation.

I let them brag, if it becomes too excessive I either change the subject or tune them out.

It's okay to be proud and to give proud updates on your kids, especially when asked, but overextended gushing has its limits.
