If you were in the habit of buying movies on VHS, back when it was the standard, when the DVD/Blu-Ray boom hit, did you go out of your way to replace them on the latest format?

I didn't have too many VHS movies, just porn. I finally got rid of them all and my player. A couple of movies I had on VHS I got on DVD.

No, we've held onto the tapes about as long as we could. It's funny because I dug out my VHS copy of Double Dragon and was going to see if I could put it on DVD, but the tape's no good, and I checked Amazon, the DVD is about $20 to buy, the tape is $2, so it'll be VHS again for this one.

I can't say I've gone out of my way to do it. A lot of the movies I had on tape were recorded from cable and we chucked those some time ago. When I title pops in my head that I want, I'll put it on my list and my wife will get it for my birthday or Xmas. One of these days I'm going to have to put them in some kind of order.

Yes I did I replaced a lot of them and just threw out the VHS tapes, some never even opened, what a waste of money.

No. I just got the newer titles in DVD. Select few VHS I replaced.
