    Father's Day Empty Father's Day

Post by Chris Sun Jun 20, 2010 9:14 am

On a scale of 1-10, how well do you get a long with your dad? 7

Do you look more like him, or your mom? I'm my dad's near twin. Same height. Same frame. Same facial structure. The biggest difference is skintone, I'm lighter.

Do you take after him at all in personality? Like him, I am calm, patient and have the tendency to quietly observe.

How often do you spend quality time with your dad? Not very much.

Men...do you have any kids yourself? I have a twelve year old daughter.

Are you doing anything special for Father's Day? No. I'll call my dad and say hello, and wait for my own call. Other than that, no plans.

Do you look more like him, or your mom? Yes I resemble him more than my Mom.

Do you take after him at all in personality? I am nothing like him in personality, there are no two people that are more opposite than me and my Dad.

How often do you spend quality time with your dad? Not very much but I call him every day.

Men...do you have any kids yourself? None that I am aware of.

Are you doing anything special for Father's Day? My Dad is not well, I will visit with him for awhile today but he is not able to leave his house righg now.

Do you look more like him, or your mom? Some say I look like my mom, some say I look like him. I think I look more like my mother, but I have my father's hair, eyes and nose.

Do you take after him at all in personality? He would tell you that I can be negative like my mother. I don't think I'm as stubborn as her, but I definitely have most of her personality. My dad doesn't curse that often, he's a lot more subtle and has more patience than I do. My brother's personality totally takes after him.

How often do you spend quality time with your dad? He lives in a different state so I don't see him that often. Whenever I visit, I always stay at his house though.

Men...do you have any kids yourself?
Are you doing anything special for Father's Day? Nah. Call him up and say 'Happy Father's Day' and call up a few of my other friends who are father's and say the same. I have to work today anyway.

Do you look more like him, or your mom? I look just like him in the face.

Do you take after him at all in personality? Maybe my anger and aloofness can be vaguely similar to his, but I think I had my mom's sense of humor and humanity.

How often do you spend quality time with your dad? Rarely.

Men...do you have any kids yourself? -----

Are you doing anything special for Father's Day? I'll probably call him later on. Gotta remind myself, because it will easily slip my mind.

Tony, why must you continually refuse to acknowledge our little TJ, solely because of his cock-eye, big nose and one leg longer than the other?

Step up to the plate, home slice. That boy needs a daddy!

Do you take after him at all in personality? Hope not.

How often do you spend quality time with your dad? I ain't spoke to him since I was 13, so the answer is not very much

On a scale of 1-10, how well do you get a long with your dad?
At best 8 / At worse 4. Usually hovers at approx. 6

Do you look more like him, or your mom?
I look like my dad structurally with some of my mom sprinkled in.

Do you take after him at all in personality?
In a lot of ways and that's probably why we sometime bump heads. We both stubborn and easy going at the same time.

How often do you spend quality time with your dad?
We hang out a few times (like twice) a year, but nothing big.

Men...do you have any kids yourself?
    No.

Are you doing anything special for Father's Day?
I haven't called him yet. Probably will in another hour.

Do you look more like him, or your mom? I look more like him than my mom. Really I think I'm a pretty good blend of them when it comes right down to it.

Do you take after him at all in personality? Quite a bit. My dad is really headstrong and vindictive. Two things that I am too. The funny thing is both my parents say that I'm just like the other one. My mom tells me I'm just like my dad and my dad tells me I'm just like my mom.

How often do you spend quality time with your dad? Not a whole lot. Very little actually. We sometimes "make plans" to do things that never happen.

Men...do you have any kids yourself? No.

Are you doing anything special for Father's Day? Not really. I spoke to him earlier. We don't really go out or anything. Unlike my mom who'll want these glorious celebrations, all my dad really wants is a phone call.

Do you look more like him, or your mom? I resemble both of my parents, but look like him more.

Do you take after him at all in personality? Too much, I'm afraid. I'm beginning to act just like him.

How often do you spend quality time with your dad? I haven't seen him in five years, so that should give you some idea. We talk on the phone maybe twice a week, but that's pretty much it.

Men...do you have any kids yourself? Ten year old twins.

Are you doing anything special for Father's Day? Already did. Hung out with the kids earlier. Now I'm back at home.

    Shale had two daddy's hehe

No, not that kind (wasn't even legal back then) but had a bio father and stepfather. Bio dad had a lot of rebel traits a bit of a philanderer and step dad was stable, nerdy nose to the grindstone type. Both influenced me (and I wrote a letter thanking stepdad which mom says he really appreciated).

As for me, got a stepdaughter who resented me at first but soon enuf found I was the only dad that took an interest in her life.

Do you look more like him, or your mom? I'm biracial, so it's hard. There are times I look more like my Dad and times I look more like my Mom but probably more my Mom than my Dad.

Do you take after him at all in personality? I wish I had his even temper. I think there are some things we share, though.

How often do you spend quality time with your dad? We live 6 or 7 hours apart, so not a lot.

Are you doing anything special for Father's Day? I'll call my Dad and then when we're all together, we'll celebrate Mother's Day, Fathers' Day and birthdays with a nice family dinner.
