Re: eBay, Amazon or Craigslist?
It is really impossible to compare the three. Craigslist is great for seeking something used. Better than Ebay for that because Ebay has gotten pricey. I don't know how much Amazon does with used, other than books. But they are a great spot to find just about anything and usually for a good deal.

Re: eBay, Amazon or Craigslist?
Never been to Ebay, the ONE thing I bought from Amazon didn't work , and I visit craigslist only to look for job openings. So I guess Craigslist.

Re: eBay, Amazon or Craigslist?
Of the three I only bought a few books from Amazon.
Interestingly they advertise a book of mine that I have never sold except thru my nudist club as a promotion. There are a couple I donated to libraries, so they probably got the catalog numbers from there.

But I don't know if someone is really re-selling one of my books. They originally went for a $10 donation. Amazon has it for $31.

It seems like it is someone reselling your book. That is pretty cool. I think bpok dealers like the hard to find titles because some day, someone is going to pay a good price for it. It could also be sitting in a used book store somewhere, and they also have it on their Amazon inventory.

Re: eBay, Amazon or Craigslist?
Amazon is your best bet for "hard to find" things. It's just finding it at a price you're willing to pay. And they do have a guarantee. I think it's 5 lifetime claims you can make. Only had it happen once in a lot of purchases over the years. A LOT.

I only made 100 copies and they were numbered. Just a little book collection of my previously published articles in nudist magazines, illustrated with line drawings. It was a desktop publishing effort with my first computer in 1995 (IBM Aptiva 4MB RAM - Word 3.1)

I do a lot of Amazon shopping, have bought from E-bay but I shy away from Craigslist I hear too many negative stories about the experiences of people that buy from there.

Amazon all the way. And what's cool about them is....if you order something and they mark down the price from the time you got it, they will refundvyou the difference. It has to be in a reasonable amount of time though.

Re: eBay, Amazon or Craigslist?
As a matter of fact, I just ordered something on Amazon last night. A friend of ours got some good furiture deals on Craigslist but we've never used it or Ebay. At least I haven't. Have to go with Amazon.

Re: eBay, Amazon or Craigslist?
Amazon is the only one I ever bought from. I attempted to buy from eBay a few times, but always got outbid. Craigslist? Meh....not really interested in that....
