    Comparison shop Empty Comparison shop

When you plan to make a costly purchase (say over fifty bucks), do you spend a lot of time comparing prices from different retailers, waiting for sales, pondering different manufacturers making the similar products, etc., etc., or do you go ahead and buy what you want as soon as you see it?

No. Not having a car I look at the logistics of how to get to places to make the purchase and often just buy things here on Miami Beach that may be higher priced than on the mainland.

Depends on what it is. When I bought the flat screen this year I waited for a sale and compared some prices and then bought it.

Ddefinitely shop around for costly items but even if it's only $50, I'll still at least look up user reviews for many things.

I do but am not a stickler about it. If I want it that day, I'm getting it that day....don't wanna wait for sales. Sometimes you can able to get a price adjustment for it if it goes on sale soon after.

I comparison shop to an extent. I may do so between a couple of stores, or online (I don't purchase online but comparing prices saves time). Sometimes I don't feel like bothering at all so I'll just buy it.

Often I prefer to just buy the time saved.

I do spend time online with hotel and airfare when I start making plans.
