Comes out to about 3k a year. I pay by the year...don't pay by the month. It's cheaper.

$1722/year for two vehicles----and that will be going up at some point soon; my daughter just passed her Learner's Permit exam today, and the driver's license will be following along in about 6 months!

We had them for years but they dropped us years ago for absolutely no reason. Won't ever go back.

LOL!! I never had a reason to change and they haven't raised my rates much, so I just stay with them.

I haven't owned a car in 13 years. Can't even remember what my wife and I paid for insurance. I know we just did the mandatory personal injury insurance. Car cost $6K so wasn't worth colision.

Paying $2200 a year for full coverage on 2 Mustangs with Geico... that is dirt cheap. State Farm wanted $5000 for just my new one!!! That is insane.. and i have state farm for home owners/renters/flood/jewlery policies... so it should have been cheaper. I had state farm auto for years until i got married and moved. They upped my insur $700 for moving to the next county. Then when I moved back they refused to drop the rate saying that "premiums went up". They hated my hubby and kept raising us cause of his age--if u are under 25 in NJ you might as well crawl in a whole and die.
I have $250 deductibles, road assist, towing and rental also. The deductibles make a difference to some companies. Allstate wanted $400 more a year to change from $500 ded to $250 deduct... but with Geico it is only like $75 more a year.

Sounds like GEICO is the way to go. That was my first insurance when I was under 25. It only cost about $300 (same as my car) back in '67. I think it actually was for government employees back then - I was in the Air Force.wants2laugh wrote:Paying $2200 a year for full coverage on 2 Mustangs with Geico... that is dirt cheap. ... For NJ.....that is cheaper than dirt. I don't see how you folks in Jersey are paying less than me. NJ is supposed to have the highest auto insurance in the country.

Either 1st or 2nd. About 10-15 years ago it was THE hot button political issue when state regulations made it very unattractive for companies to write policies here. It ain't cheap but it has gotten more affordable. Comparing your rate to W2L & I may be apples to oranges. Do you have GEICO too?. Go online and change your zip code for a quote and see how much it might change.

I have GEICO too. That craps about your insurance going down after 25 is just that. You guys have TWO cars and are paying less than me for my one car. I would have to move to get a better rate and I'm nit 30 yet so my shit is prob just going to remain high.

Usually around $1300, but it went up slightly this year. Why, I have no idea.
