Yes, it's pretty good. I liked it. But it's one of those movies where the setting is in the most of the movie (some people don't like that).

Suspension of disbelief required.
Rabid dogs do not premeditate, they just attack anything at hand.
At least Christine was possessed by an evil spirit - that shows more realism.

It does raise an interesting question though, I remember when they discussed both movies on I Love the 80s and somebody said 'if a dog gets rabies, you just shoot it, but if a car comes to life and starts killing people, what do you do with it?!'

Great movie I thought anyways. Just the thought of a rabid dog keeping you closed up in a hot car is pretty frightening.
There is another movie similar to Cujo I now forget the name but I posted it here a couple of weeks ago its the Lion's version of Cujo.

Yep thats it. Same type of movie only it was in Africa and the lions kept them in the car. That was pretty scary too!
