| It sounds like a silly question, but history has painted the picture of the nervous dad pacing in the waiting room while mom and the doctors/nurses are in the delivery room. Some argue that dad is one too many people in the delivery room and it poses a safety hazard.
If you have any kids were you/your child's father inside the delivery while your child was being born?

With video cam, sound tech, makeup crew and director? Don't know about all that lol Some people are into that I guess. A lot of hospitals for a while now haven't even been using a separate "delivery room". Labor & delivery take place all in the same one which is the same size as a hospital room.

| What use is he going to be? My mom's second husband was none, he passed out and hit the floor. | |

| Yea, if he wants to be in delivery room.
I'm not sure if my dad was in room for me.

| I would have been but my wife had an emergency C-section so I wasn't permitted in the delivery/operating room per hospital policy. | |

| Sure. Mine was. But it was entirely his choice. I wouldn't have cared if he didn't want to. | |
