Just as long as they can handle their liquor (not getting falling down drunk, wanting to fight everybody, or a crying drunk, or just a plain ol stupid drunk etc.) then I can take it in stride.

(When I was young and would get drunk myself was the only time I could tolerate other drunks)

I would rather not be around them but they will have a problem if they try to get behind the wheel. On the hand, it can be kind of amusing if one of your friends/relatives gets a little tipsy on rare occassions as long as they're mellow.

was with a drunk for 7yrs... actually left him in aruba when the airlines wouldnt let him fly home. I am not sympathetic to them at all. And the response was always, "i have a disease, you wouldnt be mad at me if i had cancer" Guess what, if u had cancer and did not get treatment, then YEAH i would be mad at you
